Lydia Hirte

She is best known for her pendants like forms that she tests to  absolute limit by twisting and fixing it into contorted, abstract shape - much like my final piece for Part 1 of this project :D

the folding in this design reminds me of a more complex form of folding i did to create those red teardrop shapes
Furthermore, we investigated curved elements during workshop 2 of our first paper brief. Some of the result i came out with don't look to dissimilar to these pattern, but these have done on such a small scale its amazing just to think how's she's done it



I really do like the curved flow of motion in these design, you cant help but follow the multiple lines around the shape to try and get more sense of it s twisting form.
