I forgot to include these before. The coil spring and sweet wrapper were a source of inspiration for my final design. It gave me the idea to have these layers of twists one on top of another, to create this spiral effect i was desiring.
I think you can tell from my drawings and mock up that they were very influential in how i come about my chosen design.
