Yuko Nishimura

Nishumira seems to have a fascination with curves and folds with his paper forms. Whem photographed in a studio setup the lighting cause the curves and folds to create shadows and add an extra depth to the structure
I really like the pleating of the paper. It gives it a 3D look to it and looks great when photographed as the shadows really make it stand.
These designs are really intriguing, Yuko has curved each fold which after a couple of folds creates a pattern which follows an invisible line. It means he is able to create beautiful designs like these flower influenced designs

Repeating the fold and moving paper into a sculpture shape of your desire can produce some great effects. I will take this into consideration with my design
