Something i looked at in the early stages of the first part of the brief was ocean waves, well now they've become relevant to me again as the arch shape they produce can be formed to show the shape of a droplet as shown here, all i've done is folded over a piece of A4 paper but not creased it, sometimes you can achieve things the simple way :)
