This pattern and structure was created with the triangle cutouts used for the previous platontic shape model. I actually really the form. The holes in the cylinder based shape create an interesting dynamic as the light passes through the hole and cast various shadow shapes. The hole mixed with the papar like beams make it look like some sort of bone structure
Twisting the paper to distort all the holes to create interesting and new patterns
Overall i think it great that you can create an entire new piece with just the extracts from another design piece, definitely changed my perspective next time i create an object, i might just keep the cutout bits, you never know what you could make out of it
