Overall i am pleased with my final piece, in term of the sculpture i'm really happy with the twist effect I was able to form utilising all the techniques i have learnt throughout the workshops. They were very helpful and learning from them has paid off.
If i had the chance to change my design i would have liked to try and make a large version, maybe try and find a large thin sheet of paper, however i just ran out of time. Furthermore looking back i feel now i could go even further with the twist technique, maybe incorporating an actual curve twist line instead of just using straight lines. One final thing was maybe have a dabble in using colour, as that is a very important part of design work and i think it could enhance a piece of work a great deal if used correctly.
But over i am happy with what i have created. One thing i like about the model is its kinetic value. Its a hands on piece, as squeezing it will change the shape to form something new. Its a great basis to go one from and develop my skill even further.
